Florfenicol(FF) and Thiamphenicol(TAP) which as one member of the Chloramphenicol group are broad spectrum antibiotics .It is commonly used for many kinds of disease of domestic fowl because of its efficiency & low price. But it will inhibit the hematogenesis function of bone marrow and induce aplastic anemia and agranulocytosis, Florfenicol has replaced the traditional Chloramphenicol use.
The Florfenicol Rapid test kit is based on the specific immuno-chemical reactions between antigen and antibody. This technology is based on competitive assays, which is the sample milk encounters gold-colloidal particles which are conjugated with the FF/TAP. The T line has antibodies to the analytic target residue. The target residue in the sample will bind to the binding site of the antibodies preventing the colloidal-gold particles, so that shows invisible T line, which is positive, on the contrary, it shows colored T line.
