The Flumequine ( FLU ) is one of a group member of (fluoro)quinolones, due to its broad spectrum antibiotic characteristics, that is used in many food and feed industries. FLU is often used for treating and preventing the outspread of disease caused from animals and fish farming, particularly, the infection disease in lung, urinary and GIT systems, it acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase that blocks the bacteria's duplication. However, they FLU over use that resulted in adverse effects to gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and central nerve system (CNS) in human bodies. Side effects include dizziness, insomnia, headache and etc.
