Draw Textured Yarn (DTY) yarn is obtained when Polyester (POY) is simultaneously twisted & drawn. DTY yarn is mainly used in weaving & knitting of fabrics for making clothes, home furnishings, seat covers, bags, as well as many other items. Fabrics manufactured from DTY feel warm due to static air trapped between fibers, and have a softer and greater volume due to untwisted fibers.
