Detailed Product Description

Founded in 1979, Producer boasts a 47-year history. From our early days producing small-scale pneumatic hot chamber die casting machines to our current fully automated hydraulic models, we have consistently manufactured precise and durable equipment. Drawing on decades of experience, we have developed a comprehensive range of machine sizes (from P20 to DH-P600) to meet diverse customer needs. We recommend that customers follow these steps when selecting the ideal hot chamber die casting machine:

  1. Determine the weight and surface area of the castings you intend to produce. In our specification tables, please refer to 'Max. Casting Area (cm²)' and 'Total Net Injection Amount (g).' We recommend selecting a hot chamber die casting machine with capacities that exceed your target casting requirements.

  2. The customer's mold must fit between the machine's tie bars. Please refer to 'Between Tie Bars (H x V) (mm)' in our specification table; your mold must be slightly smaller than these dimensions to ensure a proper fit. However, we advise against using molds that are significantly undersized, as this may lead to tie bar deformation, especially in a hot chamber die casting machine.

  3. There are two types of molds based on the injection position: centered and lower position. For our hot chamber die casting machine models P90 and below, both positions are compatible, though manual adjustment of the machine's top base (platen) is required. For models P120 and above, we provide a hot chamber die casting machine configured for a single position based on customer requirements. If both positions are needed, a hydraulic lifting system must be installed to electrically and hydraulically control the raising and lowering of the top base.

  4. After selecting the hot chamber die casting machine size and base type according to your casting and mold requirements, you may specify the voltage based on your factory’s power supply (e.g., 220V, 380V, 415V, etc.). Furthermore, you can choose the heating method for the furnace: Diesel, Gas, Electric Melting Furnace, or the latest Electromagnetic Induction. Each heating method carries different upfront equipment costs and long-term operating expenses; we recommend evaluating these based on the energy costs in your specific region. Notably, while Electromagnetic Induction involves the highest initial investment, it offers the greatest energy efficiency. Additionally, you can choose between gas or electric heating for the nozzle/gooseneck heating of the hot chamber die casting machine.

  5. In warmer climates, hydraulic oil temperatures in a hot chamber die casting machine often run high. If the oil temperature exceeds 50°C, it can cause damage to all hydraulic components. Therefore, we recommend that customers install an external hydraulic oil cooling and filtration circulation unit. By utilizing an independent cooling water line, this system can effectively lower the oil temperature.

  6. Considering labor costs, customers can opt for automated solutions such as automatic sprayers, extractors, conveyor, or six-axis robotic arms for the hot chamber die casting machine.

  7. For hot chamber die casting machines, servo motors are currently the most energy-efficient power source, offering absolute value for money in the long run. Modern servo motors are no longer as bulky as early models; in fact, the drives are now integrated directly into the motor itself, eliminating the need for an external control box.

With the drive integrated directly into the motor, the size is comparable to traditional motors, yet it offers significantly higher energy efficiency for a hot chamber die casting machine.

  8. A servo injection valve is the premier choice for manufacturing high-end products with a hot chamber die casting machine. Compared to traditional solenoid valves, the servo valve offers faster response times and controls flow rates to achieve variable injection speeds. This allows for optimized die-casting conditions. All operations are easily performed via the touch screen; simply input the three-stage injection speeds (0–100%) and the low-speed position to complete the setup.
