Extracted from seeds of Camellia oleifera, this tea oil is cold-pressed from a rare evergreen tree that grows at altitudes of 100–1200 meters and blooms only during October and November each year.
Rich in camellin, vitamins A and E, and monounsaturated fatty acids, it is ideal for stir-frying, sautéing, boiling, or as a salad dressing. (Not recommended for deep frying due to its slightly bitter profile.)
