Jin Xuan tea leaves are plump and tender, with a glossy emerald green color. Jin Xuan is the name of a tea tree variety, known for its unique floral fragrance. It is used to make oolong tea, Pao Chung tea, black tea, and more. It is widely grown in Taiwan, primarily in Nantou and Chiayi. Jin Xuan is a variety developed by Taiwan Tea Research and Extension Station after more than 40 years of cultivation. In the 1980s, they successfully cultivated the 12th variety, which was named "Tai Cha 12" and is also known as "Jin Xuan."
The tea soup of Milk Oolong Jin Xuan is a bright honey-yellow, with a light sweetness and a distinctive floral and milky fragrance. Ali Shan Milk Oolong Jin Xuan is a high-altitude variety, grown at an elevation of approximately 1,300 meters.
