Screw design for Injection Machine
Generally, the screw used in the injection machine adopts a single-tooth design. In fact, the screw design will directly affect the life of the screw.
We have been encouraging injection machine manufacturers to use Barrier-Type designed screws
If the Barrier-Type is well designed, it will have many advantages, but if the design is not good, it will have many disadvantages.
The advantages and disadvantages are as follows:
Advantages (well-designed condition):
- Increase the speed and capacity of plastic output
- Stable temperature control
- Strengthen the mixing degree of plastic
- Increase screw life
Disadvantages (bad design condition):
- Plastic output is not fast
- The temperature is easily out of control, resulting in a temperature rise
- The plastic is easy to overheat and the mixture is uneven
- Increase the speed of screw wear
The design of the screw has a high technical content. Sometimes the appearance design looks the same, but it is very different in use.
