Using more recycled yarn and fabric can reduced our dependence on petroleum as the raw material for fabric needs, moreover,  by diverting PET bottles into recycled yarn can reduce the volume of landfill, and thus minimumized soil contamination, air and water pollution. It can effectively saved approximately 10% of energy, 80% waste water and 75% of gas compared to using virgin yarn.
