Super Main Line is TTR’s flagship rope product. This rope is developed to be light in weight, and unsurpassed in breaking strength. It is the strongest rope among our 3-strand rope products. The smallest diameter for this rope is 4.5mm, and its breaking strength is among the same level of standard 5.5mm rope. The reduced weight and volume mean that vessels taking this rope on board will save significant fuel for each trip out to the sea, have more space to store their catch, and happier crews to work with lighter fishing gears.
Super Main Line incorporates high performance fibers as its core fibers to achieve utmost strength. It is evolved from our legendary W-Type Main Line, with the same 3-strand twist construction, and air textured yarn (ATY) wrapping around the core fibers for utmost abrasion resistance; Like all other main lines we produce, Super Main Line is also impregnated with black resin specifically mixed with tar inside, to further enhance abrasion resistance and prolong the rope life cycle.
We purchase only premium grade polyester yarn from renowned manufacturer in Taiwan, and high performance fibers from renowned manufacturers from Europe and Japan. All rope manufacturing, including ATY production and resin impregnation, is made in-house for total production control.
