Excellent strength, light weight and low underwater visibility have made nylon monofilament fishing line a popular choice for both commercial fishing and sports fishing. Compared to traditional basketed tuna tarred rope, the monofilament main line is lighter and easier to haul as the line gives less resistance in the water. The gear configuration is also easier to adjust, making monofilament main line a popular option for vessels in small and medium scale.

We have specifically developed the reel series monofilament main line for commercial longline fishing vessels that work with hydraulically powered spool systems. With line diameter widely available from 3.0mm all the way up to 4.0mm to suit various demands according to target species & fishing grounds, this line is tuned to yield maximum strength while maintaining the right softness for easy handling and maintain line integrity against tension from the spool system. We can pack for up to 10 nautical miles for 4.0mm mono line (approximately 265kgs.) for each wooden reel, and can pack per meters, per miles or per nautical miles by request.
