Traits:

• Long cylindrical, fusiform-cylindrical or long conical. Externally grayish-yellow to grayish-brown, with numerous warty protuberant stem scars and buds on the root stock gathering into spheroidal. Texture soft or hard, fracture relatively even, with clefts or striated radially, bark pale yellowish-white to pale brown, wood pale yellow. Odor, slightly aromatic; taste, sweet.
