LV Amorphous Dry Type Transformers   Specification
  1. Scope of application
    This specification applies to cast dry type transformers with iron cores made of Amorphous Alloy.
  2. According to standards and regulations
    The design, manufacture and test of the transformer must comply with the relevant sections of the latest edition of the standards and regulations listed below.
    National Standards of the Republic of China (CNS 13390)
    International Standard Specification (IEC 60076)
  3. Applicable environment
    The normal use of the transformer is as follows:
    a. The maximum ambient temperature is below 40 ℃
    b. Below 1000 meters above sea level
    c. Insulation type: F Class
  4. Type
    Cast resin dry type‧AN or AN/AF‧Indoor

    a. Number of phases: single phase / three phase

  6. Polarity or phase sequence
    a.Single-phase transformer is depolarized
    b.Three-phase transformer wiring:
    The primary side is a delta connection, and the secondary side is a Y connection. The primary side voltage is 30 degrees ahead. Symbol: Dyn1
    The primary side is a delta connection, and the secondary side is a delta connection. The voltage is in the same phase sequence. Symbol: Dd0
    The primary side is Y connection, the secondary side is delta connection, the primary side voltage is 30 degrees ahead, symbol: Yd1

  7. Core material and structure
    The core is made of 3-phase 3-pin amorphous alloy magnetic material. The overall structure of each transformer core and its clamps are very strong and solid. The clamps have a solid structure and can evenly distribute the pressure. The vibration of any process during operation ensures that the noise and vibration of the transformer during operation are minimized.
  8. Winding
    a.High-voltage and low-voltage coils are made of copper or aluminum conductors for electrical use. The insulation of the high-voltage coils is made of special glass fiber and reinforced resin.
    b.Partial discharge test is performed on the molded high voltage coil to confirm that it does not contain any vacuum cavity & air void, so that it has the best electrical and mechanical characteristics.
    c.Low-voltage windings can be wound with the same design as high-voltage windings or with Prepreg sheet conductors, and sealed with epoxy resin.
    d.The central shaft tube of the high and low voltage coil and the upper and lower clamps are fixed with an elastic resin support to absorb the expansion and contraction of the coil.
    e.Ventilation air ducts should be left between high and low voltage coils or each coil to ensure good heat dissipation.
    f.High and low voltage windings need to be moisture-proof,non-flammable, non-combustible, and self-extinguishing.
    g.High and low voltage wiring connectors: Except for the lead terminal, the live part of the winding on the high voltage side is covered with heat-resistant insulation, and no live part except the lead terminal is exposed. The connector of the low-voltage side winding needs to be led out by a copper plate.
    h.Tap switching position: The high-voltage side winding of the transformer must be equipped with taps that can adjust the voltage under no-voltage and no-current conditions, and the distance between each tap must be equal. This tap is led out of the winding surface so that the tap voltage can be adjusted after switching off the power (without voltage).
  9. Cooling device
    The standard cooling fan motor provided by our company is single-phase 60Hz-220V, and its control power is single-phase 60Hz-220V. The power supply is provided by the customer, but it has been specified and listed in the owner's specification. When they are different, they shall be determined according to the required number of phases, voltage or after consultation between the two parties.

  11. Transformer test
    a.Transformer noise
    Transformer design and manufacturing consider reducing the noise and vibration generated by the transformer. For its reference value, please refer to the characteristics table.
    b.Test items in the transformer plant:
    Before leaving the transformer, the following in-plant tests must be performed and a test report submitted.
    1. Measurement of insulation resistance
