Waterproofing Latex M-272 is an acrylic-styrene emulsion polymer that was designed for the manufacture of waterproofing paints which provide a good balance of performance properties; excellent adhesion, durability, film flexibility and strength. Formulating with Waterproofing Latex M-272 emulsion polymer is straightforward in that no special ingredients are required. Low levels of coalescent, dispersant, and thickener should be utilized initially, and increased as needed for the application and performance. The clear film of Waterproofing Latex M-272 has a tensile strength at about 15 kg/cm² and 900% elongation.
