Elastic cement latex CE-880 is an acrylic-styrene emulsion copolymer with special protecting system and is compatible with cement and many other types of filler. It is designed as the waterproof product for construction application by mixing one part of CE-880 and one part of cement-based powder. The resulting mixture will form a waterproofing membrane with excellent water resistance and elasticity when it is applied on the substrate and air-dried. The product is an environmentally friendly aqueous dispersion and that is suitable for use in new construction, restoration of old construction, indoor and outdoor.

Method of Use
Prepare a good, clean surface at all times. Remove all loose, disintegrated material, dirt grease, oil, and efflorescence. Substrate must be structurally sound. A mortar can be prepared by thoroughly mixing equal weight of cement-based powder and CE-880 before application. It is easy to use and the coverage of CE-880 will depend on surface porosity. Usually, 1Kg CE-880 can cover about one square meter at about 1mm dry film thickness and give excellent waterproof performance. If apply on a vertical surface, the addition of about 0.5% thickener is recommended for a better workability.
