Changyuan Electronics(SHENZHEN) Co., Ltd.("CYG", stock code: 600525), established by Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1986, is among the first batch of high-tech enterprises of Guangdong and Shenzhen. The company was certified as a national high-tech enterprise in 1999.
After the asset restructuring of the company in 1995, Concord Investment Co., Ltd. became the controlling shareholder of the company. Concord Investment is a member of Cheung Kong group, the flagship company of Hong Kong tycoon Mr. Ka Shing Li's multinational business. CYG became listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in December 2002.
CYG is engaged in the research and development, production and sales of products made from radiation of functional materials and facilities of electrical power grid. We have become the market leader in heat shrinkable products and power grid facilities in China.

Shenzhen Changyuan New Material Co., Ltd. has been renamed to ChangYuan Group Ltd. ("CYG") w.e.f. March 1, 2006.
